SDSL offer the same speed both up and down the line, giving you a symmetrical connection. This is a low cost alternative to a lease line.
Hosting Systems SDSL products are aimed at businesses and come with an
increased up channel speed to match the downstream. Our SDSL products are
available in 512K, 1Mb and 2Mb speeds, and can be bonded up to 8MB. They
are ideal for those customers who exchange large files or host services at their
premises, they also make ideal services for those customers who want larger
bandwidth but do not need an uncontended service.
- All lines are 1:1 contention ratio
- Installation includes provision of a dedicated wall socket to provide the data connection
- A BT Engineer will install and test the service
- Includes a block of 8 static IP addresses
- Installed within 20 working days (usually 10).
