Tranfering a co.uk domain name

To transfer your domain name to our servers you will need to pass the following information onto the ISP that orignally registered the domain in order to initiate the transfer:

Tranfering your .com domain name

Transfering a .com domain name is more complex than a .co.uk and the following steps must be followed:

1. Ask your current domain controller to unlock the domain and request an auth code.
2. This auth code will be sent to the registrant contact email address of the domain
3. Forwarded the Auth code to domains@hostingsystems.co.uk
4. The current domain controller or registrant (dependant on system) will then receive a request to accept the transfer. This must be accepted.

As this process can take time (due to reliance on other companies), you may wish to change your name servers to ours before transfering the domain.
